Vintage Patagonia work shirt I acquired 10 years back...the shirt itself dates back to the mid seventies and is a real classic bearing one of the original patch-logos for the brand. I immediately wanted to paint on this shirt and was the first canvas work shirt i painted on. The really odd skeletal thing was one of the more literal designs I had done and nothing like it has been repeated since...
It was one of the few pieces that I myself would wear, but as it is though the cotton material of the shirt began to show its age, and the collar started to fray and some tears on the body and arms made me wary. A few years ago a friend and fellow patagoniac and clothing designer Emily I asked to save the shirt. She repaired the collar using a fjord flannel and reinforced the other areas that were beggining to wear.
