Patagonia Work Shirt.
In 2011 after returning from a long journey in the southern hemisphere, I spent a lot of days in NYC cafe’s drinking teas doodling imaginary trees. word. life. It took some time and a very tiny brush but i was able to paint one on the back of this heavy cotton work shirt. The body of the tree ended up resembling a heart, and so ‘heartwood’. This one also was the start my playing around with triangles and other geometric doodle thingies in other pieces. peep my neck and my back.
The color teal set off the pink, and white.
